Due to increasing health concerns and not enough board members able to attend Saturday’s meeting, it has been canceled.
There is no new business to discuss and we would not be able to establish a quorum.
Please review the Pro-forma budget recently posted on our website. You can also find it at: arnoldlilacparkhoa.org/publicdocs.
If you requested a hard copy, those will be mailed out shortly.
Courtesy Statements for 2021 assessments will be mailed out the first week in January.
We do not meet in January, so the next meeting will be held Saturday, February 6, 2021.

I am Kathy Powell, the new HOA president. I was reviewing the email database we use to contact our homeowners and was very surprised that we were missing about 30 email addresses. I have entered them all in and I am sending this as kind of a test email.
I will be finishing up the Pro-forma budget for 2021 and sending information on how to obtain your own copy.

Please be aware that this time of year the bears are getting ready for winter. There has been an increase in the number of complaints about nuisance bears. DO Not leave your garbage out and dump it regularly. The dump station in Avery has already been paid for, through your property taxes. Just need proof of ownership of property. Thank you for joining us in the effort of keeping bears from damaging our properties.

The pool can not open without the pumps running due to Health Department guidelines. We will open again when the power is back on, hopefullly Thursday.
The new posted hours will be 12 NOON to 4 PM until further notice.

We have had several homeowners asking to bring in guests. Due to the increasing spread of COVID-19 we are only allowing family members this season.
We have also been asked about renting the pool after hours. Due to the extra cleaning required by the CDC to keep the pool open, we are not renting out the pool after hours this season.
Please refer to the homeowners’ letter above to refresh all that the health department has required us to do this year in order to keep the pool open.

(b) No owner shall permit disturbances which unreasonably disturb other owners’ quiet enjoyment of their lot. Quiet shall be observed between the hours of 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
(c) There shall be no exterior lighting installed or operated which is directed at or shining on neighboring lots.

Updated to include photo of the cleared drainage ditch on Lilac Drive just above the entrance to the pool.
As you may know, the HOA submitted a request to the county to clear the drainage ditches in Lilac Park. The county has changed the status to “In Progress”. Today, I observed county workers clearing the drainage ditch on Lilac Drive. So it is really “In Progress”. The link to the request is included below. Please be aware that the cleaning the conduit under your driveway is your responsibility.

There will be hot dogs, watermelon, chips, and lemonade all courtesy of the HOA.
HWY 4 will be closed on Saturday, July 6, from 9-11am during the Independence Day Parade. There will be no vehicle access in or out of Lilac Park during this time.
There will be a brief board meeting once the consumption of food has more or less ceased.
